HOW THE OPHTHALMOLOGIST APPROACHES THEIR PRACTICE

With appropriate decision making skills, clinical reasoning and judgement so that they will:

DMCRJ1 Make decisions by applying appropriate and clear clinical reasoning using an evidence based approach

DMCRJ2 Participate in departmental audit and understands its value in improving practice

DMCRJ3 Participate in personal audit and understands its value of in improving practice

DMCRJ4 Appreciate the importance of basic scientific and clinical research

DMCRJ5 Understand service management, so as to allow involvement in the organisation of ophthalmic clinical services
