Joint letter from medical Royal Colleges to David Cameron

Presidents and leaders of 13 organisations have authored a letter to Prime Minister David Cameron urging him to intervene in the debate over the new contract for junior doctors to ‘bring both parties back to the negotiating table… and initiate an honest debate about the serious difficulties facing UK health services’.

This follows a letter from Jeremy Hunt, published on the Department of Health website which calls for junior doctors to suspend strike action.
