RCOphth recruiting for Lay Advisory Group members

10 January 2018

It is an interesting time to be involved in ophthalmology. There are many new initiatives and the pace of change is quickening.

The RCOphth seeks new members to join its Lay Advisory Group, an integral part of the College which advises the Council and meets four times a year. Members are expected to serve on one other College committee.

People with experience of working at a senior level (e.g. in social services) or serving as a lay member on a health or social care related board, and those with an interest in promoting diversity are especially welcome. We would also like to recruit members with experience of ophthalmic services.

The position is unpaid, travel expenses are reimbursed.

If you think you could contribute to the work of the College please contact the CEO, Kathy Evans at

kathy.evans@rcophth.ac.uk or call 020 7935 0702.
