Learning Outcome	Understand and apply knowledge of pathology, especially the specialist pathology of the eye, adnexae and visual system. This includes histopathology, microbiology and immunology and other branches of pathology. Use this knowledge when interpreting clinical symptoms, signs and investigations and in the practice of ophthalmic medicine and surgery.
