Posts available on the Education and Training Committees

Several new and current posts on both the Education and Training Committees are now available for application via the RCOphth website.

The work of these committees ensure that patients are treated by safe and competent doctors by facilitating the acquisition of appropriate knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitudes.

On the Education Committee these roles include an e-Learning Lead, GP & other Specialties Lead, Service Managers Lead and a Mid and Later Career Lead. On the Training Committee the roles include a CESR Faculty Lead, Evaluation of Training Sub-committee Chair, Recruitment Sub-committee Chair and an International Medical Graduates (IMG) Chair.

Applications will close on 21 September 2017. Interviews will be held on Monday 2 October for the Education posts and Tuesday 3 October for the Training posts.
