Recruiting for essential editorial roles for the new RCOphth Learning Management System

Do you want to contribute to the new RCOphth Learning Management System (LMS), providing high quality structured learning pathways and coordinated educational programmes to support life-long clinical learning and professional development in a digital ‘one-stop shop’ environment?

Providing training and education materials to the eye care community

The RCOphth LMS will make high-quality training and educational materials accessible, anytime and anywhere for all ophthalmologists, eye care professionals such as orthoptists, optometrists, ophthalmic nurses and others in the multidisciplinary team.

The Learning Management System provides structured learning pathways and coordinated educational programmes to support life-long clinical learning and professional development. This online learning complements online or in-person events. Find out more about RCOphth’s current events.

Programme Editors

Editors and Co-Editors will be able to upload all types of formats of new and curated educational material, presentations, courses, seminars, webinars, interactive cases, surgical videos and guides on to the new digital LMS and will be responsible for ensuring that the educational and training content is high quality, dynamic and innovative. Each item can be linked to quizzes, discussions, curriculums, logs and other related learning opportunities that might be of interest. Full training and administrative support will be provided to use the LMS.

  • Leader.

Editors and Co-Editors will be responsible for collating and presenting materials on the LMS, and this will be a good opportunity to collaborate with specialists in your field.

Training will be provided on the morning of Wednesday 17 November, which you should be available to attend.
