To celebrate the College’s 30th Anniversary in 2018, we are pleased to announce that we are running an essay prize for OST Trainees. The competition will be open to all those currently in an OST programme (OST1 -7) and LAT posts at the time of submission.

Ophthalmologists are expected to be highly trained, motivated and able to achieve and sustain quality standards throughout their careers for the benefit of patients. Ophthalmology has been a popular specialty for many years and this has been seen at national recruitment over the last six years.

1st Prize will be £500 and 2nd Prize will be £250.  Both essays will be posted on the College website in June 2018.
