Ophthalmic Common Clinical Competency Framework (OCCCF) launches with Ophthalmic Practitioner Training (OPT)
The Ophthalmic Common Clinical Competency Framework (OCCCF) has now been developed into an Ophthalmic Practitioner Training (OPT), and is ready to be implemented in all units. The OPT, based on the OCCCF, trains postgraduate orthoptists, optometrists and ophthalmic nurses in secondary care to develop their skills in cataract, glaucoma, medical retina or emergency eye care.
