Overview	Be aware of the indications for muscle surgery, how to select which muscle to operate on and which operation to perform. Practise in a supervised simulated environment. Understand the pros and cons of surgery and how these should be explained to the patient/parent. Take an active role in orthoptic clinics seeing child and adult patients.
