TITLE	SUTURE REMOVAL FROM EYE AND ADNEXAE

Learning Outcome	Remove sutures from the eye and adnexal tissue. Know how sutures degrade and when it is appropriate to remove them. Manage any retained material and wound problems resulting from suture removal. Correctly identify the different types of suture material.
Assessment	DOPS Portfolio Part 2 FRCOphth
Assessor	DOPS can be completed by an appropriately trained nurse
