Learning Outcome	Remove an ocular surface foreign body safely. Manage any tissue contamination, or a rust ring. Recognise and take appropriate action if there is a risk of intraocular penetration. Take appropriate measures to reduce the risk of infection.
Assessment	DOPS Portfolio Part 2 FRCOphth
Assessor	DOPS can be completed by an appropriately trained nurse or senior OST
